The Sun Prairie Nursery School Experience

We Play, We Learn....Together.

Sun Prairie Nursery School is licensed by the State of Wisconsin. The curriculum at SPNS is “play based” and encourages the child to learn through exploration and active play. We believe that “play is children’s work” and have created an environment that supports this
idea.

Sun Prairie Nursery is also a Parent Cooperative. A parent cooperative nursery school is one which parents are involved as volunteer classroom assistants and in administering the school. A parent cooperative offers the opportunity to get to know the parents of your child's classmates and to work with them in cooperative ventures.

ART CART

Art is an important part of your child's early childhood education and is often a form of expression for preschoolers.  Children are active learners, and making art is a hands-on activity that expands imaginations and exercises creativity. It also develops small motor control and eye-hand coordination.
