On Wednesday, December 21st we will have our class Holiday Program.  Your children will be singing special holiday songs for you so please be sure to mark it on your calendars.  Grandparents and other special people are invited too!  We will have more information for you, as the date gets closer. Please make note now that the program takes place during our regular class time and will be followed by cookies and punch.

We will return from our break on Monday, January 2nd and our month will be all about “Winter Fun”.  We’ll be predicting and estimating with snow and ice during our small group time, making snow themed projects and maybe even try our hand at some indoor “ice skating”.  We’ll even sneak in some fun about polar bears and penguins. 

January is also the time that we start having classroom jobs. Each child will have the opportunty to water the plants, be a line leader, bell ringer and “pet pal” just to name a few.

Taking part in the responsiblilty of the classroom gives your child ownership of their environment and pride in mastering assigned tasks.
